Mercedes-Benz Service A* is performed after 1 year or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. Although the services performed can vary depending on the model year, Service A includes the following services:
Mercedes-Benz Service B* is performed at 20,000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first. During Service B, the following services are carried out:
One of the main differences between Mercedes-Benz Service A and Mercedes-Benz Service B is the time intervals. Service A is suggested after 1 year or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Service B is recommended after 2 years or 20,000 miles, whichever occurs first. When it comes to the actual services performed, the tasks for Service A and Service B are largely the same. However, during Service B, your vehicle will receive a brake fluid exchange and a cabin air filter replacement. Certain CLA and GLA AMG® models also receive an engine air filter replacement during Service B.
